Proud to see that our effort is acknowledged in the very interesting upcoming book: OBO Semantic Engineer Training.
The contribution was exemplified as best practice in the “How to be an Open Science Engineer – maximising impact for a better world” chapter.
The work was made under the auspice of CIAO project and was part of an effort to standardize important concepts and relationships using established Terminologies in the AOP Knowledge Base. The idea was to estimate the feasibility to inform or modify existing ontologies for the project needs.
After the positive experience of working openly and closely to the Uberon team our official recommendation from that point on to both CIAO and AOP was to try to work closely with Ontology Providers and report problems or required entries.
