Biovista announced today its sponsoring of the BioLink 2004 event to be held in Boston, USA, May 6 2004.

The workshop, held in conjunction with NAACL/ HLT 2004 will bring together researchers from the fields of bioinformatics, natural language processing, ontologies, data mining, and information retrieval. The focus of the workshop will be on tools that can provide improved access and cross-indexing for the biomedical literature, databases and ontologies.

Biovista will give a vendor presentation of its BioLab Experiment Assistant (BEA) tool for Systems Literature Analysis.  BEA helps researchers browse co-occurence networks of major biomedical research parameters, retrieve and annotate relevant literature and collaborate with colleagues in an integrated environment that contains selected full text articles as well as the entire Medline collection. Demonstrations of the BEA tool will also be given at the Biovista stand.
