To date, Biovista has identified 4 novel targets involved in diabetes and obesity that lend themselves to the development of drugs of the RNAi class.

Although there are various drugs in different stages of development for these conditions, the advent of RNAi as a new kind of drug has created exciting new possibilities. We screened for targets that would be particularly suited to this class of drug and that have nor previously been identified as such.
