All entries will be judged by an international panel of experts nominated by the ACGT Consortium.

PANEL OF JUDGES

The panel includes the following experts:

  • Dr. Manolis Tsiknakis, FORTH, Greece
  • Prof. Dr. Norbert Graf, Uni-Klinikum Saarland, Germany
  • Dr. Stefan Rueping, Fraunhofer IAIS, Germany
  • Dr. Andreas Persidis, Biovista, Greece


SELECTION CRITERIA

Entries will be judged on the basis of the following criteria:


Utility to End Users

Entries will be awarded points on the basis of how useful they are to end users such as medical doctors in charge of clinical trials and bio-researchers. Entries that support a specific task and present need that end users can readily identify will do better than those that do not.


Integration with ACGT Infrastructure

Entries will be awarded points on the basis of how extensive use they make of the various available services and elements of the ACGT infrastructure.


Novelty

Entries will be awarded points on the basis of how original they are with respect to the state of the art.
